The Argusian Belt (Asteroid belt) is the first circumstellar disc in the Sol system located roughly between the orbits of the planets Mars and Jupiter. Or 2.06 to 4.2 AU respectively. The collective mass of the belt is 4% the mass of Luna. The belt is quite stony compared to the Titan Belt and the Carpo Belt; being either silicate, carbonaceous, or metallic.
Gravitational perturbations from Jupiter imbued protoplanets with too much orbital energy for them to accrete into a planet. Collisions became too violent, and instead of fusing together the objects, it instead shattered them. As a result, 99.9% of the Argusian Belt's original mass was lost in the first 100 million years of the Solar System's history. The largest object in the Argusian belt is Vesta, which is barely 1,000 km in diameter. The first objects of the Argusian Belt were settled during the 2020's CE by The Conglomerate. Generally, the first objects that were settled were also the largest.
